In the Islamic and Iranian tradition, adornment is considered as a moral vice. This moral vice was condemned both in Iran's pre-Islamic heritage and in the Islamic tradition, as it endan- gered the protection of the family foundation.
A large number of Persian artifact epic texts have been written centered on women, in which, examples of adorned women can be seen.
The form of the moral ugliness of adorned women in Persian epic texts is manifested in the form of the ancient thought of the Aniran woman or fairy; Therefore, any woman who has this moral vice in the epic texts has a self-conscious or unconscious function. This adornment shows itself in showing off the body, clothing, flirting, perfume, decorations, etc., for each of which one can find a moral prohibition in Shiite narrative texts.
Regarding this similarity, this research seeks to compare the issue of women's adornment in Persian epic texts and Shiite religious texts.
The research method to test this issue is comparative and relies on first-hand narrative and epic sources as an important part of cultural discourse.
The results show that most of the examples of adornment in the narrative texts correspond to the Anirani characters in various forms according to the historical contexts of issuing the epic text.
