The contemporary world is witnessing profound social transformations. Wars and internal and external oppressions have occurred in many countries. It is evident that the literature and poetry of nations also play a role in the path of resistance against the injustices inflicted upon any society. Therefore, to strengthen the culture of resistance, while exploring the teachings of the Quran, it is necessary to discover practical components in various branches of art so that this art serves the Quranic culture, leading to the flourishing of society. The Palestinian and Lebanese nations have both tasted the bitter experience of foreign aggression against their homeland. Both Arab nations share common cultural, historical, and religious characteristics, albeit with slight differences that can create a different perspective on the theme of resistance in national and global views. The present research examines the poetry of Boulos Salameh and Mutlaq Abdul-Khaliq with a comparative approach, emphasizing the theme of resistance. The main goal of the research is to discover the common characteristics of the culture of resistance in contemporary literature and to examine the features that each of the two poets has prioritized based on their local and socio-political conditions. The data have been analyzed using a descriptive-analytical method with a thematic analysis strategy. The findings show that the extracted themes include instilling hope, glorifying martyrdom, fighters, and religious figures, exposing oppressors and condemning rulers, patriotism, and calling for Jihad. Furthermore, Salameh strives to revive the culture of resistance by using a narrative style and referring to historical models of resistance such as Imam Ali (a.s.), while Abdul-Khaliq's greatest emphasis is on reviving the spirit of patriotism.
