Mohammad Darashokouh and Yakub Bomeh were two thinkers of almost the same time, one in India and the other in Germany, heralds of religious tolerance and called for the closeness and dialogue of religions and the peaceful coexistence of their followers.
Why this sameness in goals and opinions happened in two faraway lands and to what extent the surrounding events and the historical background of that era played a role in this alignment is a question to be pondered.
And it is a question that we have tried to answer by rereading and describing the historical contexts and events of that era and referring to the ideas of these two.
Based on this, in this research, we analyzed the content by coding the tolerance data obtained from the authored texts of Darashokouh and Bomeh, using the text-based descriptive method.
The result is that both Darashokouh and Bomeh lived in a tense period in their society, where there were wide-ranging conflicts between believers of different religions and sects. In these inflamed contexts, both thinkers considered the way of mysticism and mystical insights as the way to create peace, tolerance and peaceful coexistence, and by re-reading and mystically interpreting religious texts and publishing them in the society, they sought to expand the culture of religious tolerance; This was not tolerated by the manifestors of different spectrums and by excommunicating and rejecting these ideas, they finally turned off the light of this idea at that time.
